Only two of Arizona’s seven Supreme Court justices are on the ballot  and both voted to uphold Arizona’s 1864 law severely restricting abortion. Clint Bolick and Katheryn King were among the four justices who voted to uphold the old abortion law. Both were appointed by Rep. Governor Doug Ducey.

Arizona’s MAGA Republicans, like Trump cult Kool-Aid drinkers everywhere, long for a return to the patriarchy days of the 1950s when White hetero men ruled America and women, minorities and the LGBTQIA+ communities “knew their place.”

It will be one of the harshest anti-abortion laws in the nation with no exceptions for rape or incest. Arizona may become Ground Zero in the national battle over Women’s rights. Two of the Justices, Clint Bolick and Kathryn King, are up for re-election in November.

Public education in America began before the “Founding Fathers” met in Philadelphia. Horace Mann of Massachusetts campaigned in town after town for publicly financed education for all children in “common schools.”
